Our company was founded on the idea of creating a southern taste of quality and southern comfort food. The owner is known for his love of cooking. Whether it's deep frying or grilling, his technique is like no other! He loves to cook as well enjoy people eating his food. Ever since our organization was established, we have endeavored to provide each plate with that "Southern Love and Taste."
We know that our hard work and our great food have helped us stick around a long time, but, mostly we know that without YOU, our wonderful customers, we would be nothing.
What’s our secret?
Some might argue that it’s no secret at all why Southern Plate's meats are so moist, tender and flavorful. After all, we take our time and with the very best quality ribs, pork, chicken, turkey and beef, carefully baste them with our special marinades and seasonings, then slowly smoke them at low temperatures with real hickory logs for up to 14 hours. The result is: "The most tender and juicy smoked meats you’ve ever tasted.
Sidekicks & Service
While it’s our barbecued meats that made us famous, we don’t slack off when it comes to our sidekicks or our service. We use old family recipes to make Bar-B-Que Beans, Coleslaw, Potato Salad, Fried Corn on the Cob, Smoked Baked Potatoes and Homemade Desserts.
Southern Plate knows you like choices. Each portion of Southern Plate Cuisine is served directly from our hickory pit. Our plates are fixed with "That Southern Love and Taste." After you’ve savored every last bite of our entree's, we know you’ll agree that all the work we put into preparing your meal was well worth the effort.
